شَغَلَ “الويب 3 (Web3)” المعروف أيضًا باسم “web 3.0” مواقع الانترنت خلال الفترة الماضية، واستحوذ على اهتمام كبير من قبل الشّركات والأشخاص على حدّ سواء، فما هو الويب 3؟ وكيف يعمل؟ وهل سيشكل حقًّا مستقبل الانترنت؟، ماذا عن علاقته بـ “سلسة الكتل (blockchain)” و”الذّكاء الاصطناعيّ (Artificial intelligence) “. للإجابة عن هذه الأسئلة وغيرها دعونا نلقي نظرة على ماهيّة الويب 3، وما قد يخبّئه لنا في المستقبل القريب.

تتسابق صناعة التكنولوجيا نحو شيء قد يكون مرحلة ثالثة من تطوّر الانترنت. بالنسبة إلى شيء غير موجود بعد، من المؤكد أنّ الويب 3.0 يثير غضب الكثير من الأشخاص، فهو على ألسنة الجميع.

يتشاجر التقنيّون حوله على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، واستثمر المستثمرون العام الماضي 30 مليار دولار في الشركات الناشئة القائمة على الويب 3.0، يترك المهندسون المتميزون وظائفهم المريحة في شركات مثل: “جوجل(Google)” و”ميتا(meta)” للحصول على وظائف مبكرة، ويدفع الناس ملايين الدولارات مقابل الرموز الرقمية غير القابلة للاستبدال(NFT).

أدّى هذا الغموض القابع وراء Web3 إلى درجة كبيرة من الانقسام حول المصطلح عبر الصناعة، حيث أشاد المدافعون عنه باعتباره طريقة ثوريّة لإعادة الانترنت إلى جذوره التحرريّة، في حين أنّ المشككين البارزين مثل: ايلون ماسك (Elon Musk) يرفضون ويب 3 باعتباره “كلمة طنانة للتسويق”.

ما هو الويب 3.0

لا يزال Web 3.0 مصطلحًا غامضًا بالنسبة للكثيرين، إلّا أنّ مضمونه وجوهره واحد ألا وهو إضفاء الطابع الديمقراطيّ على الانترنت، وكسر استحواذ شركات التكنولوجيا الكبرى عليه، وإعادته بذلك إلى الأشخاص العاديين. كمحاولة للجمع بين blockchain والعقود الذكية و”التطبيقات اللامركزية(dApps)”.كل ذلك باستخدام تقنيات حديثة، وبالاستعانة بخوارزميات الذكاء الاصطناعي.

وسيكون كما تصوّره “Web3 Foundation”، عبارة عن شبكة انترنت عامّة يتم فيها تسجيل البيانات والمحتوى على سلاسل blockchain أو تحويلها إلى رموز، وإدارتها، والوصول إليها على شبكات توزيع نظير إلى نظير(Peer-To-Peer).

فهو يعد بأن يكون إصدارًا لا مركزيًا، خاليًا من الوسطاء، ومبنيًا بنفس إمكانيّة المصادقة المشفّرة التي أدّت إلى ظهور العملات المشّفرة، والرموز غير القابلة للاستبدال (NFTs)، وأنواع جديدة من التطبيقات اللامركزيّة الموزّعة. ولكي نفهم بشكلٍ أفضلٍ إلى أين يتّجه الانترنت، نحتاج أولًا إلى إلقاء نظرة على الحقبة الماضية من تاريخه.

أصول الويب 3.0

تم وصف الويب 3 لأول مرة من قبل أحد مبتكري “Ethereum blockchain” المعروف باسم “كيفين وود “في منشور على مدونته عام 2014، صوّره وود كمساحة مشفّرة على الانترنت يتم بناؤها استجابة لمخاوف الخصوصيّة التي أثارتها اكتشافات المراقبة العالميّة لـ “إدوارد سنودن” في عام 2013.

في مقابلة أجريت معه في تشرين الثاني (نوفمبر) 2021 مع “Wired”، صقل وود هذا التعريف أكثر مؤكدًا على أهمية Web 3.0، باعتباره وسيلة الخلاص من استثمار شركات الانترنت الكبرى لبيانات المستخدمين وبيعها بملايين الدولارات لتستفيد منها الشركات في دراسة سلوك المستخدمين وعاداتهم الشرائية وغيرها.

وعلى الرّغم من ذلك، لم يبدأ مصطلح “Web3” حقًا في الظهور حتى عام 2021. حيث بدأ أصحاب رؤوس الأموال في وادي السليكون في الحديث عن الويب 3 باعتباره “انترنت مملوك للبُناة والمستخدمين، يتم تنسيقه باستخدام الرموز”.

الويب 1.0 والويب 2.0

كان الويب “web 1.0” أول شبكة ويب متاحة للجمهور تتمثل بمجموعة من الصفحات ذات المحتوى الثابت المخصّصة للقراءة فقط، دون وجود أي تفاعل حقيقيّ من قبل المستخدمين. مع إمكانية تشغيل الغالبيّة العظمى من هذه المواقع بواسطة أفراد أو شركات صغيرة، فعمالقة الانترنت لم يكونوا موجودين بعد.

تغيّر ذلك مع Web 2.0، الذي بدأ منذ حوالي عام 2004، ليؤكد على فكرة التفاعل والتواصل بين المستخدمين، مع عدد كبير من المدونات ومواقع التواصل الإجتماعي، التي استولت عليها شركات الانترنت. ولا يزال الأشخاص العاديون يديرون مواقعهم الخاصة، لكنّهم يمثلون أقليّة الآن.

الويب 3 مقارنة مع سابقيه

ما يميز الويب 3.0 عن أسلافه هو أنه لامركزيّ، تمامًا مثل Web 1.0، ولكنّه تفاعلي مثل Web 2.0. إذًا فهو شبكة 2.0 تتمتع فيه شركات التكنولوجيا الكبرى بقدر أقل من التحكم، أو تمنع فيه من التحكم بالمستخدمين وبياناتهم.

تستند هذه الرؤية إلى الاعتماد على blockchains (التكنولوجيا التي تدعم العملات المشفرة)، وتقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي التي ستنقلنا إلى ما يعرف بالويب الدلالي “Semantic web” المتميّز بـ:

الذكاء وأساليب البحث الدقيقة المعتمدة على معنى ودلالة الكلمة بدلًا من البحث الحرفي عن المحتوى.

ويتميز أيضًا ويب 3.0 بـ:

  • حماية البيانات من الضياع: فبدلًا من تخزينها في مخدمات مركزية سيتم توزيعها على عدة أجهزة.
  •  تقنيات التشفير التي تستخدم زوج مفاتيح عام وخاص يمنح الخاص للمستخدم صاحب البيانات.
  • الخصوصيّة ومنع احتكار الشركات الكبرى.
  • عدم وجود نقطة تحكم مركزية.
  • خدمة بدون انقطاع.

مع ميّزاته العديدة إلّا أنّ قطب التكنولوجيا إيلون ماسك، وأحد أبرز رجالاتها، كان في حيرة من أمره مؤخرًا عندما حاول اكتشاف ماهيّة الويب 3. وكتب على تويتر الشهر الماضي: “تبدو كلمة طنانة تسويقيّة أكثر من كونها حقيقة في الوقت الحالي”.

ما هو الخطأ في الويب الحالي

باختصار، يشعر العديد من التقنيين (ناهيك عن الكثير من المستخدمين) بالقلق من أنّ حفنة من الرؤساء التنفيذيين التقنيين يتمتعون بقدر كبير من القوة والوصول إلى بياناتهم.

تستضيف شركات أمثال “يوتيوب YouTube”، و “انستجرام Instagram”، و “تويتر Twitter” نسبة كبيرة من المحتوى عبر الإنترنت، بما في ذلك الخطاب السياسي، وتقرّر هذه الشركات من سيتم حظره. كما أنّهم يخزنون كميات هائلة من البيانات ويأخذون حصّة متزايدة من عائدات وادي السيليكون.

كيف يعمل الإصدار الثالث من الويب

كما ذكرنا سابقًا، فإنّ التكنولوجيا الأساسيّة في الويب 3 هي blockchain، وهي نفس التقنيّة التي تدعم العملة المشفّرة.

على هذا النحو، أصبح ويب 3 مرادفًا لكلّ شيء مشفر. لذلك سترى أحيانًا أنّه يُشار إليه باعتباره عاملاً شاملاً لأي شيء له علاقة “ببيتكوين (Bitcoin)”. فالعديد من مشاريعه عبارة عن تطبيقات لامركزيّة تعمل على Ethereum blockchain.

يتم الاحتفاظ بالبيانات في التخزين اللامركزي، بحيث يتم نشرها عبر الانترنت ككل بدلاً من عدد محدد من مزارع الخوادم كما هو الحال الآن. سيتم تسجيل كيفية نقل هذه البيانات في blockchain،  مما يجعل تدفّق البيانات شفافًا للغاية، مع منع إساءة الاستخدام أيضًا.

ستكون هذه اللامركزية نعمة لكثير من الناس، حيث يمكنك الوصول بسهولة إلى الانترنت من أيّ مكان، وربما ستتيح الويب لثلث سكان العالم الذين لم يستخدموا الانترنت مطلقًا. في الوقت نفسه، فإنّ الذكاء الاصطناعيّ سيحد من إساءة استخدام النّظام من قبل الروبوتات، والهجمات على مزارع الخوادم.

إنّ هذا المزيج من الشفافيّة والذكاء الاصطناعيّ سيجعل الأمر أكثر صعوبة على شركات مثل: ميتا وجوجل. للسيطرة على الويب كما هو الحال الآن، وسيمنح الناس على الأقل على الورق، وصولاً متساوياً إلى الويب.

اعتراضات على الويب 3

بالرّغم من الميّزات العديدة التي يعد بها، فإنّ أحد الجوانب السلبيّة الهائلة للويب 3.0 هو فقدان إخفاء الهوية. في نظام شفاف تمامًا، يمكن دائمًا التعرّف عليك، بنفس الطريقة التي لا تكون بها العملة المشفّرة مثل البيتكوين مجهولة. في الواقع، ستكون السريّة خارج الحسبان تمامًا، والذي قد لا يكون شيئًا يريده الجميع.

ومع ذلك، فإن أكبر اعتراض على ويب 3.0 هو أنّه في معظم النّواحي، نظريّ تمامًا. في حين أنّ فكرة الانترنت اللامركزي بدون جوجل وميتا رائعة، إلّا أنّها تعتمد بشدة على التقنيّات التي لم يتم تطويرها بعد.

أحد الأسئلة التي كثيرًا ما يطرحها المتشككون في ويب 3 هو أين توجد تطبيقاته؟.

مع وجود بنية حديثة ومعقدة واستخدام تقنيات جديدة، لا ينبغي أن يكون مفاجئًا أنّنا لم نشهد بعد وفرة من تطبيقات ويب 3 في السّوق.

للوصول إلى معظم تطبيقات Web3، سيحتاج المستخدمون إلى “محفظة تشفير(cryptocurrency wallets)”. وعلى الأرجح متصفح جديد، وفهم لعالم جديد بالكامل من المصطلحات، واستعداد لدفع رسوم “الرموز” المطلوبة لتنفيذ الإجراءات على Ethereum blockchain. هذه حواجز كبيرة أمام دخول مستخدم الانترنت العادي.

في حين أنّ الشبكة الإجتماعية اللامركزية Mastodon و GitHub clone Radicle مبنية على بعض مبادئ ويب 3. كما هو الحال في متصفح Brave. فإن معظم تطبيقات Web3 الحاليّة تلبي احتياجات تداول الأصول المشفّرة أو المراهنة على العملات المشفرة في ألعاب الكازينو.

اخر الشائعات حول Web 3.0

أفادت CNBC أنّ اثنين من كبار المهندسين في فيسبوك في مشروع blockchain والعملة الرقمية غادروا الشّركة للانضمام إلى فريق التشفير “Andreessen Horowitz” في أكتوبر.

وفي الشهر الماضي ، غادر نائب رئيس شركة ميتا الأم لشركة فيسبوك إلى OpenSea ليكون جزءًا من مشروع الويب القادم. يشاع أيضًا أنّ معمارية ويب 3 ستتكوّن من :

  • Blockchain وبيئة داعمة لتطويرها.
  • file storage.
  • P2P database.
  • API.
  • Client (Frameworks and libraries).
  • برتكولات إضافية.

مما يعني أنها ستختلف بذلك عن المعماريّة السابقة المؤلفة من:

  •  front-end web server.
  • middle layer application server.
  • back-end datastore.

بين مؤيّد ومعارض تتباين الآراء حول ويب 3. وبين فكرة ثوريّة هادفة للتخلّص من هيمنة الشركات الكبرى، واستحواذها على بيانات المستخدمين. إلى حلم ورديّ، ينتظر إبصار النّور، واكتمال بذوغ التقنيّات الداعمة له. إلّا أنّه يبقى خطوة جديدة نحو مستقبل تكون اللامركزيّة والخصوصية السمة البارزة فيه.
