مما لاشك فيه أن تراجع الاقتصاد الأمريكي بات أمرًا ملموسًا ويبرز سؤال المراقبين للوضع الاقتصادي الأمريكي لهذا اليوم هو: اجتماع آخرٌ لمجلس الاحتياطي الفيدرالي: ما الجديد هذه المرة؟

يبلغ المستوى الحالي هو 72.1 مما يضع الولايات المتحدة في المرتبة 25 على مستوى العالم. من جهةٍ أخرى، قال كيفن روبرتس، رئيس مؤسسة هيريتيجHeritage: “إن تراجع الحرية الاقتصادية الأمريكية مؤشّر خطير يدعو للقلق وله عواقبٌ حقيقيةٌ وملموسة على جميع الأمريكيين، وخاصة الأُسر ذات الدخل المنخفض والطبقة العاملة”.

تحدٍ آخر للاقتصاد الأمريكي

التحدي الآخر لاقتصاد الولايات المتحدة لم يتم حله بعد. حيث ستُعقد الجلسة المغلقة لمجلس محافظي نظام الاحتياطي الفيدرالي اليوم الاثنين. أما بالنسبة للمسألة التي سيتم النظر فيها هي “مراجعة وتحديد من قبل مجلس المحافظين لمعدلات السلف والخصم التي تفرضها البنوك الاحتياطية الفيدرالية”.
يجدر بالذكر معدل الخصم هو معدل الفائدة المحملة على البنوك الصناعية ومؤسسات الإيداع المختلفة على القروض التي تتلقاها من مرفق التصرف الإقليمي التابع لبنك FRS Bank – نافذة الخصم. توفر FRS Banks ثلاثة أنواع من الائتمان لمؤسسات الإيداع:
1. الائتمان الأساسي.
2. الائتمان الثانوي.
3. وأخيرًا الائتمان الموسمي.
